New Harnesses

Mckenzie was collected late morning and Alexander arrived early morning, so the house descended into chaos very quickly. The two dogs added to the madness and I sat there at one point shaking my head. What happened to my peaceful life? :-))

Mr E and I finally got to go for our 'steak and bubbly night' at a local gastro pub. I'd ordered it months ago and the expiry date was looming, so I donned a skirt for the second time in a week and off we went.

The ribeye was good but it was served on a wooden board. I'm not keen on this idea, as the Virgo in me questions just how clean it can be. The four chips were served in a minuscule metal bucket and the sauce in a small pot. Does anyone know how best to eat food served like this? If you tip the sauce out, it goes all over the table, yet cutting things small enough to dip into the pot, would mean eating like a sparrow. What's wrong with a plate??? It did taste good though.

I offered to drive as Mr E rarely has time off, which meant I missed out on the bubbly. When we left the pub, I thought someone had stolen the car!! It was only 10 feet away but I didn't recognise it! I think I'm cracking up this week.

Still not wearing my glasses but Glasses Off have sent me an email saying that they don't think the app will improve my eyesight. I'm still doing the exercises but I'm struggling to read things. I may go back to using the 'pin hole' glasses for 20 minutes a day.
