Paddling quietly

with their mother on Western Springs Lake.

Its a while since I have been to the lake, and there were tiny ducklings running around as well as a number of cygnets at various stages of growth. A very pleasant run around the lake with my camera before heading home again. A full day of appointments, of all sorts.

The back to the apartment to pack up and drive north to Snells Beach for the weekend. Better weather is predicted for this weekend, and there will be no election results to watch. Another week or so before the final results have to be declared.

Daylight saving begins on Sunday, the clocks going forward an hour. I'll be back to morning runs in the dark for a few weeks.
