A Day in Edinburgh

Explored Edinburgh from the HOHO bus, and CJ thought it fun to be high up without a top on the bus. The old and new cities are both World Heritage sites, and it is a fascinating city. Very compact so easy to walk, although very hilly, but I can see why anyone who comes here falls in love with it.

We walked up the Royal Mile to the castle, then stopped for lunch in Grassmarket. While walking back to catch the train home CJ was ready for some space and room to run, so running down the hill in Princess St Gardens was an obvious choice for him ....... and of course he knew dad would catch him at the bottom of the hill ☺
