Jesus Bugs

Otherwise known as water striders. Went for a walk to Keeper's Pool in Sutton Park because felt I just HAD to see sunshine on water, but before I got there saw all these water striders skimming over the water on the small stream that flows near Town Gate. Fascinating to watch.

So much other beauty there - the sunshine through the autumn trees; coots making V-shaped trails of silver through the golden water; clouds reflected in the leaf-strewn corner of Keeper's; squirrels hanging from branches. Chose this because might not see it again, and love the colours and patterns in the water.

Youngest daughter got into town today (in NE Brazil), and so we were able to communicate a bit more - that made me very happy.
