Bird Alert!!

Just letting all birds in the vicinity of Wombat Hollow know that I'm now ready and equipped to shoot you at 11 frames per second with my new Sony ILCE6000.

I'm particularly keen to sneak up on those magnificent Gang Gangs when they come snooping around over summer. Perhaps I'll even be able to capture some of them in flight from now on.

It was a huge decision to upgrade but I'm really happy I did. It's added a new dimension to my new interest in photography and made me even keener to get out there amongst it. Can't wait to get down to the Murray River again and set myself up in a nice spot on the river bank somewhere and wait for those pelicans to fly in!!
