Wonderfully, warm Wimbledon Village.
On an incredibly warm September Sunday, I took Mr C for a very short jaunt, hobble and brunch in Wimbledon Village. The common was buzzing with families and dog walkers enjoying the sunshine. We sat outside to eat our scrambled eggs and sautéed mushrooms and watch the horse riders go off for their morning trot and the world go by!
Mr C hobbled (very slowly) on his crutches up the high street. It was lovely to get out and get some fresh air for a couple of hours.
He is now happily ensconced on the sofa watching the Quins match on telly ~ let's hope he is still smiling later!!
