It's over

What a long day! I left home at 7.30am and it was 7pm when I left the church this evening. I hadn't been back home or anywhere else in between and it was non-stop. I'm exhausted but it was a good day.

Harvest Festival this morning and we had a lot of extra people in church. Then on to the parish lunch which is always a good do, approx 120 attend. Then back over to the church for final preparations for our first Youth Service this evening. A lot of planning had gone into this and we had approx 90 people there, two thirds were adults who had come to support the young people. I think everyone enjoyed it.

I took this view just as I left church. I felt it summed up the end of a good day.
