An early start

We had a wonderful meal at the Chateau last night - there were so many courses, we had to leave before the final one!

This morning we had an early start to get to Calais for our lunch time Eurotunnel crossing, so I got up to take the boys for a walk around the grounds, and of course to get a blip before we left. It was so peaceful, the sky was fantastic, the swans were in the moat and the ducks were quacking, as well as a donkey braying in a distance.

Anyway, we had a great journey home with hardly any traffic until we got to the tunnel where it was absolute chaos! It took a while to get through security, but we still managed to get our train, and were home for about 4pm. We unpacked, took the boys out for a walk and then ordered an Indian takeaway, but now we have to pack Alan's case again as he's off to Pheonix, Arizona on business trip tomorrow.
