Some progress today - not more unpacking but a trip to the big yellow and blue store to look at storage. The final scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark anyone?

When we first moved into a new build we were somewhat dismissive of the ridiculous amount of built-in storage. Fast forward 10 years and we suddenly need to buy a lot of wardrobes and things to put stuff in (or on). Those mirrored wardrobes don't seem so silly now, eh?

The bad news of the day was that one of our ex-neighbours' house burnt down. No idea what happened and thankfully no-one was hurt but the house appears to have been completely gutted and the owner has lost everything. What a nightmare. Another of our neighbours apparently broke in to check the owner wasn't home - while the house was alight. A giant pat on the back.
