Tenderheart Bear Keeps Watch

A long time ago, in a land far, far away, well, actually, some 30 years ago, there was a children's animation programme called Care Bears.

My daughter used to get up early, and play the VHS tapes she had recorded herself to watch. She gave me a Tenderheart Bear toy because she thought I was closest to Tenderheart.

He now sits in a corner of the kitchen windowsill gazing into the dark, probably wondering where she is and what she is doing, like I do.
