Winding down for Autumn

Most of the narrow boats we see along the canal now are on their way back towards their home base at some marina or other. The others are either house boats whose owners are used to the change in seasons and are now preparing for longer, colder nights. There's less frivolity on board though no less friendliness. It's always a friendly place to start the day... when it's not soggy.
