Desert Squirrel

The wind was even colder this morning, and the mist down over the hills. So I didn't take the big camera... again!

The light did come through, but rather differently for the last few days as there was so much low cloud and mist. I took photographs on the way up to the top of Mt Pleasant (ill named today, what a stupid place name!), and in spite of the unpleasant conditions, I walked up into the cloud, hoping that maybe I would emerge above it, or there would be a few breaks. No such luck this morning, though, and Lyttelton Harbour was completely hidden.

This is more telephoto than my previous images from this area, and focuses on the succession of hills between us and Sumner.
