It's Grim Up North

William Wordsworth's Wallpaper

As you can see William was too busy wandering lonely as a cloud to keep up with the DIY.

Returned to Allan Bank today to take the photos that I didn't have time to take last week, including these shards of wallpaper, which are circa 1960 rather than anything to do with WW.

Allan Bank is one of the 'new' style National Trust properties where the public are invited to make themselves at home. A great marketing move, because its lots of fun being able to take your dog, read the books, play the piano and make your own cup of tea and it saves having to furnish and decorate the place.
