Ouch

All was going well today until poor C had a bad fall bless him and hurt his little arm.

We went to the park with friends this afternoon and then went for a little walk. C was running with his friend down the stony and very gravelly path & went flying headlong into the stones. He landed on his forearm and has made a horrible mess of it underneath. He has a very nasty cut in his arm and a lot of scars around it.

I patched him up and checked with the pharmacist that I shouldn't take him to the hospital. She said it would heal, to dress it but to keep an eye out for signs of infection. Poor boy has been v brave (and I've been employing my best nurse's training).

Phewf quite an afternoon!
