Moules-frites

A popular main dish in Belgium and now a favorite of mine is mussels in a broth of either Belgium beer or wine with garlic. I had mine tonight with garlic, onion, celery and cream. Of course it is accompanied with fries and bread for soaking up the broth.

I don't think I have ever eaten so many mussels in my life. It goes down easy with a great glass of Belgium Ale.

We walked around the city a while but since we didn't arrive here until almost 6 p.m. from Ireland, we didn't have a lot of daylight for taking photographs. Tomorrow we take the train into Bruges so I'm sure to have plenty of pictures.
