Harvest

Busy day today what with the hospital then a series of things to pick up, shop for and generally bugger about with. As part of today's session on "goals" we had to set ourselves goals for some small, achievable but challenging things we had to try and accomplish today, one of mine was to push myself to go for a walk of at least 25 minutes duration. So after we finished all the chores we went down to the Thames at Moulsford and toddled along the path. Heavy going with my crutches tangling up in the undergrowth but we made it half a field length or so before turning back. A ten minute walk that took us the best part of an hour, but still job done. We stopped at a gap in the trees looking out across this field with the harvesters working their way back and forth in the evening light . Worthy of a blip I thought.
