turn around point

The day began with a 6am alarm for Pilates. A short breakfast, coffee in the sun & a bit of shoe shopping before heading out of Wagga...& about 500km Mildura.

Lunch in Hay at the Shear Outback cafe....love country hospitality. Kitchen may have closed, but they still organised a serve of quiche & salad with a rather good coffee to have out on the balcony. Things just always taste better in the great outdoors.
Then across the Hay Plain where emu are a plenty & snakes crossing the road make me squirm.

Having completed the 980km to my destination it was only appropriate that it end at the battleshop...a small gathering of sorts was to congregate around the Wilson table for bubbles.

Then the Chambord came out & everything was even better.

Many laughs, stories & catching up on everything happening both here there & places in-between. It's surprising how much can happen in a short time. It's also surprising how many people don't use facebook to stay 'in the loop'. I have apologised for them not finding out first hand.
