Two seasons in a day

Well, you would never tell from this shot, but we had torrential rain this morning! By lunchtime it had headed off North and East and left us with a lovely day. Had to snap this lovely pampas grass plant - what a beauty :)

We had a nice busy day. Home Bargains opened in Cully today so we checked it out - was well worth a visit. It is nice to have somewhere else to wander around. Then we paid our usual visit to the Library. Leo made a poppy for their WWI event. After that we had a plod around the rest of Cully then lunch in the White Hart. The dining room was clad with Christmas decorations - they must be booking in holiday meals already!

Then we headed home for a few minutes rest before heading back out to Exeter to do a few errands.

Am done in now so am having an extremely early night with a good book and a cuppa.

Am hoping to head out for a nice long walk to Tiverton tomorrow, whilst the boys play World Cup FIFA for a few hours.
