Preening time

Holiday Day 4:

Today we had a trip to Doxey Marshes ....... it is a lovely area right near the M6 on the outskirts of Stafford.

Once you get into the reserve you don't realise how near you are to traffic & civilisation!

We saw lots of different birds ...... including a heron who actually let us get fairly close before flying off & a huge flock of geese.

These 3 cygnets won the blip challenge though ..... they looked so sweet busily preening ....... in total there were 8 of them ...... quite a successful brood!
