Tomatoes

Red tomatoes in my greenhouse, ripening at last. They are seven weeks later than usual. We have had several days of warm sunshine and that has brought them on. Not a lot of fruit has set. It's going to be a short, lean season.

Today has been the warmest so far this year- about 30C. I considered getting the big fan out.

Meanwhile, the polyanthus, which flower late winter-early spring, have decided that time has come. Several have flowers and buds.
