Rosy Hillside

The rising sun touched the hillside with a rosy glow and turned the dark green poplar leaves to gold.

No post processing was done on this image- it's straight from the camera. It's not so great in large though. I should have used the tripod, but had I fetched it I would have missed this moment. I've blipped this hillside before, in winter.

Today was blue sky and sunshine until late afternoon, with a warm, gusty nor'wester that kept the temperature up after the sun had gone. The sunshine was fierce. I dared to put on my lightest hot weather clothing for the first time this summer. It felt so nice and free.
