Where cows may safely graze

Today was another unseasonal warm sunny day. I spent a lot of time in the garden doing some of the many small jobs that mark the transition from summer to winter.
Eventually Janet and I got out for a short walk but we were both feeling fairly exhausted by this bug/virus that we picked up a couple of weeks ago. First you feel OK and then when you do something you get very sweaty and rapidly feel very tired.
By the time we got out the mist had rolled in and the sun had set.
So it was a short walk. We met some friendly cows and I had a friendly, if somewhat one-sided conversation with one of them.
Another cow wasn't feeling sociable and walked by at the bottom of the field, giving a bit of foreground interest to my shot over the still, reflecting lake and the misty fields and forest stretching away down the valley.
This was a catch-up blip from yesterday (Saturday) and you can see today's image (Sunday) here.
