Bumper crop

The car tyres make a crunchy sound as we drive out over the beech nuts, and they are quite hard to walk on. Normous swept the drive a couple of days ago, but now it is covered again. He gets so frustrated!
A wet day so it didn't matter that I had to work on the computer. My quilt club is putting on an exhibition in the local church at the end of the month and somehow I got the job of publicising it. So today I have been writing articles and tracking down email address for local papers far and wide. Nearer the time I will contact local radio. I hope we get a good attendance because profits will go to Surrey Air Ambulance. You will hear more about this event, I'm sure!
