Back-blip 3 of 4

Day one of the European Majorette's Championships being held at Slavonski Brod, Croatia. Daughter Danielle completed her solo routine and was in three of the team events. The England team had entered competitors in all of the solo, duet and team categories over the weekend.

Two of the Dads drove a van across from Bristol loaded with all of the props and accessories used in the various routines. The three of us took several 'fresh air' breaks during the day (a euphemism for a visit to the beer tent), careful of course not to miss any of the routines. The atmosphere in the tent was great as rival supporters attempted to out-sing each other with all joining in for the conga. This Dutchman was only too keen to pose for a picture.

An excellent first day.
