Looking Towards Arbroath

12.9C with rain all morning then clearing to bright spells with more cloud developing late afternoon. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. The rain had gone and the sky was beginning to show blue patches through the clouds. As we walked past the church there was blue amongst the clouds looking towards Arbroath over the fields.

Down at the shore there were lots of big waves rolling in towards the beach and breaking over the rocks with lots of foam and spray. The tide was in and there wasn't much beach left to see so I decided to walk on along the cycle path and have a longer walk.

Later a big parcel of art materials arrived. Most for Apothecary7 to restock her supplies, and three little tubes of a new hybrid watercolour/gouache paint for me to try.
