The Sea was Looking Rougher

12.4C dull and rainy all day. Light breeze.

Apothecary7's day off. We went into Dundee, had tea/hot chocolate in M&S cafe, bought a few groceries, and came back home. The rain in Dundee was quite heavy and there was a lot of standing water all the way along East Dock Street. Fortunately the rain was lighter out towards Carnoustie. When we got home we decided to take Maeve the Deerhound for a walk in case the rain got worse later (it did). We put on waterproofs and went down the shore road to the beach at Westhaven and along to the fishermen's huts. The sea was looking rougher than I have seen it for a while with waves rolling in over the rocks.

We came back over the road bridge over the railway then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home. I towelled Maeve dry, and I expect she will have to be brushed tomorrow !
