Autumn Bloom

Len brought this rose in from the garden late yesterday afternoon. I put it in a vase in the kitchen.

This morning, it was blooming perfectly. A joy to behold.

Have been busy this afternoon. With a lot of help from my friend Sue, we cleared the back bedroom, put boxes away in the cupboard and moved the china into a corner. I can now get to all my camera equipment slung on the bed, and, perhaps more to the point, strip and wash the bedsheets and make up the bed ready for any potential visitors.
