Intense

I thought the obsession with hand phones was bad in Indonesia, but here in China, it is a lot worse. People wandering the streets like zombies, always slightly slower than your walking pace. Making you nervous as they walk towards you on a collision course, usually managing to avoid the crash at the last second. Just as well really, as I have long since given up avoiding the conflicts.

I just did a quick survey from the office window and find that I am probably over stating the case for this national nuisance, only registering 1 in 10 of pedestrians wandering with phone in hand, but it does seem like a lot more.

I guess I am having a VM moment. It is allowed, I’m old :)
