Minimalism

The weekly blip challenge. As a painter I first think of Minimalism in art and particularly paintings. This was a movement that started in the 60s as a reaction to abstract expressionism and included color field paintings and geometric abstractions. My challenge was to find something that wasn’t a piece of “art” to photograph with the same result.
Here’s the first try - straight from the camera. (couldn’t resist the stripes.)

If anyone of you might be interested in joining this challenge group, feel free to either ask me about it or go here for a brief explanation from our leader in Scotland. It's fun.
