Snowdrops

I grew up in the country and our garden was always full of snowdrops - clumps growing apparently wild and all different sorts, including doubles. They appeared everywhere and sometimes even beyond the boundaries of the garden.

Several clumps had made a break for freedom this year and my brother went onto the land next door to retrieve some. He brought three clumps of these runaways when he came for Sunday lunch and they seem to have settled in my new garden.

As you may notice, they are doubles.......
