Once upon a time......

I had a quick trip to Tairua today to finish a job I started at our beach house.
On the way home I stopped to take some pictures of this little old cottage which sits abandoned in a paddock. (had to use my phone as I didn't have my camera with me.)
When I pass this house I imagine it as it might have been once upon a time.
In my mind I see it painted white with a picket fence a pretty garden with roses growing around the doorway. I see kids playing in the swing that might have hung from the Oak tree on the left . I am sure it was once somebody's pride and joy.
