Art Lesson

In today's class all of my students were totally focussed on copying a sketch by founder of the C19th pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood in England, Gabriel Rosetti. The subject of his sketch was his muse, passion and later his wife - Elizabeth Siddal (perhaps better known as the model for Sir John Everett Millais' famous painting "Ophelia"). As the students look and copy and learn how movement makes this graceful image of Siddal at the easel, all I had to do was capture their learning and then choose which photograph to use which eventually turned out to be the most difficult decision of my day!
