Botanicals

... for your gin, which indeed seems increasingly varied on the airport shelves. It's also amazingly expensive in certain cases, whether it is blended with Icelandic water or what must be astonishingly rare herbs and spices. No, I didn't bother, our local brand is certainly cheaper and tastes fine, although without the same caché or exotic and captivating description of the supererogation demanded for it's heavenly creation. Still, I had already succumbed to the lure of these 'Botanicals', to bob between the ice-cubes slowly melting in my glass.

I pondered new names for future blends. Would "Mother Brown's" be suitable for the export market I wondered? Maybe spelt "Browne's" after a feted charwoman?
