A Blip for Tom

Today is Tom's birthday. He was Bliped a few weeks ago. I knew he wasn't at work today and given the superb weather and his love of the alps, I was convinced he would be up in the mountains. So I phoned him on the mobile and was dismayed to find him at home in Munich. Being a responsible family man now, he was child-sitting while his wife Sandra was working.

Hope Tom you get the chance to get out soon and enjoy a good walk. Tom was until family responsibility forced him to give it up, a voluntary "caretaker" of a hut belonging to the German Alpine Club.

On your behalf, Angie took off with MrsB and Luna to Gunzesried and a walk along the Ostertalbach, near Immenstadt. I have stolen the Blip from her. They all seemed to have a great time but seemed a bit worn out by the time they got home.

Having looked on the web, will have to keep the area they went to in mind when the children next over. Seems to be lots on offer, hiking, snow shoeing, MTB, skiing, toboganning, not to forget Bliper TochterPleach who lives nearby. Maybe one day we will Blip into one another.

Meanwhile Flash & I enjoyed the peace & quiet without the girls. Flash relished being allowed to get on with his horse managing duties without Luna charging about causing chaos. We then had a gentlemen's walk to the stream where he had a paddle and I phoned Tom.
