Penicuik House opening soon

Ran over to Penicuik House where I spent a very pleasant hour or so looking round and taking photos with a camera rather than my phone, for once. After ten years work, the shell of the building (which burned out in 1899) has been stabilised and will soon be open to the public. There are also many features near and in sight of the house which have been restored, making it a lovely place to visit and offering many photo opportunities.
