A matter of scale ...

We tend to forget living here in Patagonia that the enormous distances and isolation is not so common in other parts of the world. Here, part of the Aluminé valley, taken from the top of Pilo Lil, a neolithic meeting place high on the ridge of the valley. The provincial highway can be seen snaking its way through the valley below. Up here we saw eagles, peregrine falcons. kestrels and of course condors. Good birding country.
