Stone with fallen leaves

Before starting on the autumn job of clearing away all the fallen leaves from the garden I decided to use some to make an ephemeral art work- afterAndy Goldsworthy.

This is the result-stone with fallen acer leaves

Andy Goldsworthy lives in the Borders of Scotland and I have long admired his work.
He uses material in the natural environment to make work then photographs it leaving it to decay back to nature.
