Ebola

Those of us who make work, I hesitate to use the word art with its connotations of elitism and high art, are often asked where we get our inspiration from.

Well, today I did not have to look far. The media is full of the Ebola outbreak.

The World Health Organisation say the outbreak could reach 10,000 per week by December.
This epidemic has the potential to change history as much as any plague has ever done for we are in totally uncharted waters.

Unless there is a huge international task force to control it we face a global catastrophe.

There is no cure and arrivals at Heathrow are now screened.

So this morning I made a series of ink drawings relating to it.
This is one.
What good will it do? None. But that is art.
