Monday: Baby Shower

There was a baby shower this evening for Maria Luisa so we all descended for an early evening of cakes and gifts.  The concept of baby shower is unknown in Spain so I think that it was quite the event for her.  Little Salome, when she arrives, is going to be a very well dressed little baby.  I mentioned a little while ago that K. and I are going to be godparents.

The baby shower was in the form of an English tea and I am now suffering from a complete sugar rush which is making me feel quite unwell.  I may have to go and lie down shortly.

Tomorrow I am off to Budapest for the rest of the week (sadly, work, not play) so I will see you there!
