The North Western Lake District Fells.

I almost entitled this Southwaite M6 services but I am sure that would have left most people very puzzled. If you look carefully in the bottom right hand corner you will see an array of lamp posts these are on the southbound service area.

After lunch I took CC up to hospital for visiting time and left her aiming to pick her up after evening visiting. As we had been into Penrith first we were travelling up the A6 and I spotted a shot so I came back the same way. Unfortunately my shot was facing away from the road and was extremely unlikely to change.

So I settled for a shot of the view over to the North Western Fells including that mountain you will see me blip time and again, Blencathra. Apart from the service station the only point of interest is the corner of what I think is Southwaite Hall but it could also be Barrock Park.
