The inside of St. Mang's basilica in Fussen. What an ornate church it was with beautiful frescos and this organ loft.

You can also see Jimmy our bus driver taking some snaps of his own.

In the evening we went to Garmich-Partenkirchen for a curling match. GP is about 60K from Fussen and took about 1 hour. The Zugspitz is the highest mountain in this area, but we only had time to view it from the bus. Four teams played against the German teams. Only one of our teams won. Jim and I played in the same team and I played not too badly, but we lost 11-3. It wasn't surprising really as the German team was skipped by Andrea Schopp a previous World curling champion, six times European champion and Olympic gold medallist. Monika Wagner, who had played as her second and then third in these championships played as her third tonight with two young junior champions playing at first and second. We felt good as we took 3 ends from her. They were great company at the meal and drinks after the match. As it happens I'm the only one in the group who speaks German so I'm the translator!!
