Work in Progress

The house was swarming with electricians and builders today; well three electricians and one builder actually, though Tree Man did put in an appearance, but only to give us a quote, not to do any actual work.

This is Martin bricking us up in the kitchen; hopefully someone will come and rescue us before the food runs out.

Upstairs floors were being ripped up, this is the landing; we literally had to walk the plank.

We did manage to get out in the car with Dylan this afternoon as I had to visit a customer in Norton Lindsey and Ann went for a walk through the village and surrounding countryside. It was a relief to find everyone had left by the time we returned, a time of peace and quiet before it all starts again.
