In the Temple of the Sun gods in #Comino

Off to the north of the island and took the small ferry across to Comino which is situated between Malta and Gozo.

It only measures 3.5 square kilometres , has one hotel and allegedly four permanent residents including a policeman and a priest.

It's famous for the stunning Blue Lagoon which attracts hundreds of migratory sunbathers. By 2pm virtually every square centimetre of the tiny beach and hard standing was occupied by worshippers of the sun god. Being an out-of-season Wednesday, the guy at the food cabin said today was relatively "quiet".

Stopped at Mellieha Bay for a cappuccino and a coconut sundae and took a walk on the seafront where I had a chat with an ex-patriate parrot from Wales named George and his millionaire owner. George has lived in Malta for 14 years.

Here's me at the Blue Lagoon. I did manage to do some swimming and get my hair wet.
