Let sleeping lions.....

A fab day at Chester Zoo! But it's taken me 10 days to upload a shot. So many to choose from. My other half and his sister pay for an animal adoption for me each year. Not a lion but the red pandas.

This lioness was having a mid morning nap and was perfectly happy considering the attention she was getting outside her enclosure. I suspect the zoo is getting a few more visitors since the recent BBC TV drama, but I've been coming here since I was a kid. I'm rather a grown up kid now, but I still love it.

I've got one more visit before the end of the year and that's my solo indulgent visit just before Christmas when it's really quiet....bliss!
