Where's the cat?

"Hello hello hello. Where is the cat? The cat is in the moon."

Every Finn around my age remembers those lines. The prepositions is wrong because the whole tv series was spoken in English using about 20 words and the teachers panel thought that using two prepositions would confuse the kids. Oh the good old times when we tried to keep things simple.

The tv show had many episodes and it was quite scary (for a kid). I had not learned English at that point in the school, but totally got the show and what was going on. I was six years old. It was directed, written and also partially acted by a Brit Neil Hardwick who moved to Finland to be with - you guessed it - a woman. Ever since he's done some brilliant things for Finnish television and theatre. Perhaps also written couple of books.

This cat was chased to the tree by our dog's girlfriends who are let to run free in the parks other than just the dog park. So they wanted to play with this cat and the cat disagreed. Glad she did not go to the moon.

It's my day off. The washer just beeped that the laundry is done, so I need to go hang them to dry and then head to the grocery store.

It's really cold here. In the morning it was only 2°C and it was windy so it felt like we were on the frozen side of the scale. And for a short moment it was snowing really really lightly, but the snow melted as it hit the pavement.
