Lewis

A shot taking off from Stornoway today for a couple of days in Inverness. Stornoway is off-screen to the left in the photograph, and the peninsula of Point is off to the right. From this height it is apparent how fragile the connection of Point to the 'mainland' of Lewis is. The land-raid monument and the ancient church of previous blips are located just at the part where the narrow isthmus joints the bulk of Point in the centre of the image.
