Improvisation

There was no internet this morning which made it a bit difficult to plan the day so headed up to the Cafe du Brazil for an 8 am cappuccino and free wifi. All the local men were there whilst the womenfolk did the shopping. Had a walk round the marina - more yachts have arrived for the Rolex Middle Sea Race which is due to start tomorrow.

Went to a few UNESCO World Heritage Sites with remains dating from around 3000 BC but they only seem to open for three hours on three days a week (but not Fridays).

Getting the feel of the driving here - don't use indicators; don't stop at roundabouts; if you do happen to stop at a junction then use the opportunity to check your text messages and keep your fingers on the horn - it's pretty simple when you get the hang of it.

Finished the afternoon swimming at Gneja Bay. The water was lovely again!

I've not managed to get my hands on any red balloons so I've decided to improvise and join the party.
