Autumn Fungus #2

Yesterday on our walk I spotted a fungus and today I went back to photo it and it had been trodden on!

However the blip gods were with me and not too far away was this little beauty. No idea what it is (possibly a waxcap of some sort?), but the sun was just shining on one side of it making it sparkle.

A little bit of 'gardening' was required to clean up the surroundings - and a mini tripod was used to steady the camera.

The squirrels in the woods are driving the dogs crazy at the moment ... poor Finlay and Katie don't grasp the concept of 'up the tree' and cannot fathom out where the squirrels keep disappearing to.
