Affectionately known as the Dumpling Tour of 2014 - the adventure has begun.

A wonderful early morning walk through my old neighbourhood with Rach, a quick shower & taxi to the airport.

AirAsia flight Melbourne - KL arriving late afternoon after a wonderful flight through the heart of Australia taking in Murray Darling basin, Lake Eyre, red centre (just missing Uluru), the Cape of Carpentaria, over Bali & Indonesia's bigger islands before following the Malay coastline into KLIA2.

Rather pleased we'd booked the hotel transfer, stepping outside into the late afternoon humid rain it was stifling. A very quick moment to sit & recharge (the iPhone lol) before trotting out. As suggested by my other half, our first night pre-booked table was here at Traders Hotel on the 33rd floor at SkyBar.

This was our view. The drinks were also good.
