Hector

We were back to orienteering around castles today. The Queen had given permission for Balmoral Estate to be used for the first time for orienteering and it didn't disappoint. It was a fabulous setting for the event and the castle was a great backdrop, especially as a rainbow appeared above it at one point during the morning. I would have loved her Majesty to walk through the assembly area with various corgis at some point but sadly the Royal Family were not at home.

This is Hector, our highest placed Brit on the Elite Men's course, racing in to the finish looking as if he has seriously taken on the forest and won.

Tomorrow we move on to Aberdeen for the final event of the Festival.
